The wedding of Briar and Jacob will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the stunning Hawkesdene Estate. Guests are warmly invited to join the celebrations by staying onsite from late afternoon on Sunday, September 22nd, until mid-morning on Wednesday, September 25th.

Each guest or couple will have a private, fully furnished bedroom within shared cottages, carefully arranged by Briar and Jacob to ensure everyone’s comfort and to foster a shared experience among family and friends. The cost for staying onsite in a private bedroom in a shared cottage from Sept. 22-25, 2024, is $600.

Even if guests opt for off-site stays, they are welcome to join group activities and engage in casual gatherings on the estate. They can also participate in the dining plan if desired.

The beauty of the Hawkesdene Estate is that it’s all-inclusive. Guests are encouraged to opt into the estate dining plan, which features rich flavors of Southern Appalachia expertly curated by the renowned culinary team at Hawkesdene. The dining plan comes complete with breakfast, lunch, evening appetizers during cocktail hour, and dinner. There is also a complimentary snack bar and beverage station located in the main house for the duration of your stay.

Rooted in southern traditions, their menu showcases locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients, all prepared onsite. Hawkesdene prides itself on accommodating special requests and individual dietary restrictions. All meals are elegantly presented buffet-style in the main house dining area or al fresco under the open-air pavilion.

The dining plan is priced at $100 per person for the duration of your stay (Sept. 22-25). Children aged 3 and under are free. The couple has covered the rehearsal and wedding reception dinners, along with beer, wine, and select spirits during these events. Guests are encouraged to bring their own alcoholic beverages for the duration of your stay. Opting into the dining plan is optional, but please note that dining options in the area are limited, especially on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
